I’m also a mom, licensed vocational nurse, and now student again as I work toward my Bachelors in Nursing.
While I believe that personal experience and our individual skin should always have a place in the discussion, skincare is a science and should be based in evidence. I use my science background, medical training, obsessive research, and almost a decade focused on skincare to deliver content backed by evidence – including how to pick effective formulations, debunking marketing and misinformation, and other topics like skin treatments and devices.
